Health insurance appeals · Illinois
Insurance denied your claim? We help you fight it.
Tell us about the denial. A real person reviews it, explains your options in plain English and, if you want, handles the appeal for you.
Free first check
We look at your denial and tell you if an appeal makes sense. No obligation.
We do the work
Appeal letters, calls with the insurer, deadlines and follow-ups.
Pay only if insurance pays
20% of what your insurer pays after our appeal, capped at $1,000.
Insurers deny about one in five in-network claims on HealthCare.gov plans. Fewer than one in a hundred people appeal. We help you be one of them.

Who is behind this
Appeal Desk is run by Constantine Vysotskyi, a Chicago-area software engineer with 10+ years of experience, including systems that exchange medical data (HL7, FHIR, DICOM). We read denial letters and EOBs line by line and use software to make sure nothing is missed — but a person makes every call.
Questions
Is the denial check really free?
Yes. We review what you send and explain your options at no cost. You decide afterwards whether you want us to handle the appeal.
How much do you charge for an appeal?
20% of what your insurer pays after our appeal, capped at $1,000. If the appeal does not result in payment, you owe nothing.
How much time do I have to appeal?
For most job-based and Marketplace plans you have 180 days from the denial notice to file an internal appeal. Medicare and Medicaid have their own deadlines. Do not wait — tell us the date on your letter.
Are you lawyers?
No. We are not a law firm and do not give legal advice. Patients can name an authorized representative for an insurance appeal; that is the role we take with your written permission.
Do you work with my insurance?
We help with most private plans, Marketplace plans and Medicare Advantage. We are not affiliated with any insurer, hospital or government agency.
What happens to my information?
We use it only to review and work on your case and delete documents when the case is closed. See the privacy policy.
